Rubin is a chilled-out, hippy-fied music producer who has written and narrated this chilled out, hippy-fied guide to creating art.
While his book is too woo-woo for me, he does make valid points about doing what needs to be done to open yourself up to be ready to receive inspiration by listening to your subconscious.
But for my money, you can get the same valid points without the woo woo from this old video by John Cleese.
There, I’ve saved you a couple of quid and a few hours.
