This morning saw the first November snowfall in Abiko for 54 years (view from my daughters’ bedroom). This is also the first time that Leicester City FC have ever progressed to the last 16 of the European Champions League. And it is the first consecutive month ever that I’m expecting to have met the £100 minimum threshold to receive a royalty cheque from Amazon. It’d be nice to think it was the quality of my novels that are driving sales, but in fact it’s the quantity (and no doubt quality, ahem) of adult colouring books in my Zen of Football series. The fifth and latest to join the fray is Liverpool, here.
Almost mitigates all the other terrible news this year.
